Public Policy
Our experts assist with the development of meaningful public policy analysis, review, and development that more fully supports child welfare service delivery, while protecting the rights, safety, and well-being of the vulnerable populations served.
Partnering with child welfare agencies, we have conducted comprehensive reviews of child welfare related statutes, administrative codes, policies, and procedures.
Further, as part of our work, we often develop corresponding practice model documentation. The SAFE Model is well-documented in a comprehensive Intervention Manual that includes the model specifications, outlines assessment processes, identifies “how to” protocols and processes, and includes performance guidance and case examples. This manual has been adapted, and with Action for Child Protection guidance and support, incorporated into numerous child welfare agency policies and procedures.
